Acknowledgement of Country

We acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of this land, their deep knowledge, wisdom, and enduring connection to Country, and their ongoing care for the natural world. We pay our respects to Elders past, present, and emerging, and we honour our relationships with all our participants and their kin.

We also wish to recognise and pay respect to the generations of local First Nations people of the Latje Latje mob, and their neighbours across the mighty Murray River — the Barkindji and Kureinji mobs — who have, for many thousands of years, lived in and drawn their physical and spiritual sustenance from the forests, rivers, and billabongs of this beautiful land on the edge of the desert. We honour them as the Traditional Owners and Custodians of the lands on which we work, meet, and collaborate.
